The Vegas Vipers have signed quarterback Brett Hundley, and they parted ways with quarterback Bryan Scott. Hundley will be the Vipers’ starting quarterback.
The Green Bay Packers drafted Hundley in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He was the third quarterback behind Aaron Rodgers and Scott Tolzen. But after a good training camp and preseason Hundley became the Packers’ backup quarterback.
In 2017 Hundley played in 11 games and started nine; he finished the season with 1,836 passing yards, nine touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. In 2018 Hundley was traded to the Seattle Seahawks but did not see any game action.
Hundley signed with the Arizona Cardinals the following season to back up Kyler Murray. He played in three games passing for 49 yards and rushing for 35 yards. Hundley was on the Cardinals roster until 2021 before he signed with the Indianapolis Colts.
On the Colts, Hundley spent most of his time on the practice squad but was elevated to the active roster several times. After his time with the Colts, Hundley played on the New Orleans Saints practice squad and had two stints with the Baltimore Ravens.
Hundley is a great pickup for the Vipers; he can help them win many games with his experience. The quarterback is primed for a big season and could be an MVP candidate.
